INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT (CCPA) POLICY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the \u201cCCPA\u201d for short) takes effect on January 1, 2020 and provides California residents new rights to request disclosure of, delete (with exceptions), and control certain transfers of the personal information a business has collected about them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our company, Vavve,LLC which does business as Vavve (you can just call us \u201cVavve\u201d), provides products, services, and other features (the \u201cVavve Services\u201d) to California residents through our mobile applications, Vavve.com, Vavve social media properties, other websites and blogs, and\/or other software (the \u201cVavve Sites\u201d). Here, we refer to California residents that use the Vavve Sites as \u201cyou\u201d and \u201cyour\u201d.\u00a0 If you are a California resident, or will become one in the future, please read this policy, as well as our\u00a0Privacy Policy,\u00a0before using the Vavve sites as they collectively govern our treatment of any information, including \u201dpersonal information\u201d. The CCPA defines \u201cpersonal information\u201d as information that \u201cidentifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household\u201d.\u00a0 It does not include publicly available, anonymized, aggregated or other information otherwise incapable of being associated with a person or household. The CCPA substantially limits the rights of our employees and those employees of entities with whom we transact business with respect to information we collect in those contexts.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rights Under The CCPA?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request to know certain information about Vavve\u2019s data practices in the twelve months prior to your request.  You can request the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

• our information collection practices, including the categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources of such information, our business purposes for collecting or sharing such information, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared such information.<\/li>
• our information sharing practices, including the categories of personal information that we disclosed for a business purpose and the categories of personal information \u201csold\u201d (as defined broadly under the CCPA), and the associated categories of third-parties to whom the information was sold.<\/li>
• the specific pieces of personal information that we collected about you.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

  Vavve will acknowledge receipt of your request, verify your identity and respond to your request with a downloadable report. You may request this information up to twice in a 12-month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Deletion\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  If you are a California resident, you have the right to request that Vavve delete your personal information that we have collected from you. You may make this request at any time.  Vavve will acknowledge receipt of your request, verify your identity and respond to your request. Deletion may include erasing, de-identifying or aggregating personal information so that it is no longer reasonably capable of identifying you or your household. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Opt-In Following Prior Opt-Out\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  If you have previously elected to opt-out of the sale (as defined in the CCPA) of your personal information, you may elect to opt back in.  The opt-in process will require a two-step verification to confirm your election, and will be governed by the disclosures, policies and procedures described here, in our Privacy Policy, and our Terms.  You can opt-in by e-mailing us at ccpa@vavve.com<\/a> with \u201cOpt-In to the Sale of My Personal Information\u201d in the subject line and your first and last name, email address and, if a Vavve account holder, current Vavve shipping address in the body of the e-mail or by clicking this ccpa@vavve.com<\/a> link and following the instructions to submit your request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Right of Non-Discrimination<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us as a result of the exercise of your rights under the CCPA, including opting out of the sale of personal information.  Please note, however, that there could be a difference in the way the Vavve Sites or Vavve Services function related to deleting certain of your personal information (like reduced pricing for products shipped from location physically closer to you) or the inability to share personal information with certain partners or service providers (like auto-completing payment or shipping information or recommending items and discounts based on your purchase history).  These and similar differences are permitted under the CCPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  California residents may exercise their rights by submitting a request through email ccpa@vavve.com<\/a>, which are available through the links provided on this page. We will use the information you provide, and may request additional information, to confirm your identity and verify your Vavve account information before we process your request.  Verification may require multi-step authentication procedures, such as email sent to the email address on record, login to your Vavve account, text message code verification, and\/or a combination of the foregoing or related means. We do have the right to deny requests under certain circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you of the reasons.  We will not provide you with specific pieces of personal information if the disclosure creates a substantial, articulable, and unreasonable risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  If you are not a California resident, we may fulfill a request made on this page, but are not obligated to do so.  Vavve reserves the right to refuse to fulfill CCPA requests or elections in the event your California residency cannot be reasonably confirmed.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
