Job Description

We are looking for an individual who has the extra level of drive to succeed despite obstacles and challenges, and a positive attitude favoring achievement of goals. • Build POS applications using Java, Angular Js, MySQL DB
• Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored
• Create working prototypes to prove out ideas
• Analyze and modify existing code to meet requirements
• As a Senior Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module. You should have good experience in application of standard software development principles. You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks. You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/ programming language. You should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers. You should be able to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the team.

Primary Responsibility

• Experienced with Java application development (6+ years) in Web and Mobile Apps, with knowledge of its ecosystems and framework.
• Experience in developing and consuming Web Services.
• Must have expertise in hybrid mobile app development with latest technology
• Experience working with and designing development concepts using SDLC tools like Jira, Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience working with Point of Sale Hardware (Registers, Printers, Scanners, Payment Devices) in Web and Mobile Apps
• Experience with Hybrid Mobile OS and Technologies (Android/iOS)
• Experience in design patterns (MVVM / MVC / Singleton / MVP)
• Experience working in enterprise development team environment, familiar with Eclipse, configuration management, and defect tracking tools.
• Solid SQL development skills
• Knowledge of retail POS processes, including customer facing (sales & returns management, promotions & pricing, loyalty, etc.) and back-office (cash management, opening & closing, TLOG processing).
• Solid knowledge of industry best practices and technical systems
• Code and debug defined timelines with expected coding standards
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of POS/Virtual Terminal Retail stores solutions features and remain on the forefront of industry best practices.
• Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Assist in the definition of project objectives, scope, organization, timelines, and overall approach
• Review and conduct information systems needs assessment and recommend appropriate infrastructure solution
• Design and implement applications and enhancements using JAVA/Angular JS code
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Maintain and enhance applications per request

Required Candidate profile

Key Requirements :

Experience 5-10 Years
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field or 5+ years of related experience
Front end and backend developer
Strong in JAVA , Angular Js, SQL and Hybrid Mobile development
POS development experience and should have done POS on premise development.
Should have development experience in POS.
Good understanding of Java and OOPS concepts
